There comes a point in healing, where there’s an internal shift.  It’s this place inside that expands outward with the knowing, when your ego steps aside and you fully realize that you are both a mortal, fallible, human, and a timeless, ageless, universal soul.  When that shift happens, all you will want is more.  You will want to know more, be more, to feel more, to live more.  And, you will also want less.  Less things,  less drama, less ordinary.  It won’t matter what you want, being in alignment with your self and the world will matter most.  You will stop praying for specific outcomes, and you will start looking for opportunities to connect and serve the greater good.  Your integrity will not let you turn away or take the easy path.  You will be terrified as you release all that isn’t meant for you, and you consciously explore each new experience, releasing attachment to the outcome.

This place in the journey is awkward.  You are practicing authenticity and vulnerability.  You are also growing more aware of the depth of your wounds.  You will want to cling to the illusion of control, you may be tired of constantly self reflecting, you may get stuck in the details and overcompensate and over think.  That’s okay.  Let go of your judgement and breathe through the desire to rush.  Just breathe.

Inhale, exhale.  Dig your bare feet into the earth.  Sit alone under the stars, and open your ears to the loudness of nature.  Still your mind and feel your heart beat with intention.  It is in that moment, you might feel your lips twitch, the tension leave your neck and your jaw unclench.  In that second, one that feels infinite, release the urge to fight, to stiffen against that feeling.

It’s okay to be happy.
